My family and I went to Golden Hills for the first time last June. It was absolutely amazing. Trails are good and plentiful. Chuck and Kay are the most welcoming people! We are planning to return again this June--just a couple of weeks from now. My kids are counting the days (and so am I)!!!

Love to ride at Golden Hills. Trails are rocky so shoes are a must. The best part is the people we meet when we go there. Thanks Shelley, Phil, Pam, Linda, Yvonne and Connie for making the ride so great this year. Camp grounds are really nice and clean and food is good.

CHUCK AND KAY, JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW WE HAD A GREAT TIME OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND. IT WILL DEFINATELY BE IN OUR PLANS TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR. OTHER THAN MY HORSE BEING STUPID,EVERYTHING WENT SO WELL. YOU HAVE TO GIVE MAC A EXTRA HANDFUL OF GRAIN FOR THE GREAT JOB HE DID. I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER MET 2 PEOPLE MORE REAL AND TRUE THAN YOU TWO. THE HOSPITALITY WAS AWSOME. THE RANCH IS SO GORGEOUS AND THE COUNTRYSIDE WAS PRETTIER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE EVER SEEN. YOU GUYS WERE SO ACCOMODATING, IT WAS SO UNREAL. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND THE GREAT TIME. WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN. GOD BLESS JUDY RANSOM-MICHIGAN

My wife and I have been to Golden Hills on three occasions. We love the Goldens and the trail rides there. The last trip we got a close up photo of a bald eagle as we entered Paradise Valley. He was in the tree directly over the creek. It was fascinating.

I visited for the first time in October '09 with the group "Equi-Friends." We had a very nice time, in spite of not so great weather. The hospitality and friendly owners were great, really made us all feel welcome. We enjoyed those hearty breakfasts and drinking coffee in the mornings while we socialized in the big hall. Some of our group camped, but I stayed in the motel which worked out really well since I traveled from the Northwest.

Our group liked it so much, we plan to return in 2010!

I have been lucky to visit Golden Hills for the last two years in late October. I will be visiting again this October and look forward to the clean air, crystal clear water and the great food that is provided during our stay! (Kay is a great cook!)
The trees are just starting to change when we get there and by the end of our ride the colors are beautiful!
The variety of trails offer an easy ride for families with small riders or more difficult trails for those more adventurous!
(We have shoes on all four hooves due to the rocky terrain.)
